THE POWER OF TWO

This project is a unique learning experience for all members of our global team. We ourselves are learning along with participants about online professional development in times of crisis. We have adapted to the new realities of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

In Spring 2022, we have developed a new approach to professional development that includes time for modeling easy-to-implement media literacy lesson plans, along with planning time for partners to develop a collaborative project.

We believe that adult learners benefit from time to interact with colleagues from around the country and around the world. The Power of Two is a novel and innovative approach to online professional development for educators.

MEET Tolerance

We got an introduction to the MEET Tolerance project and considered how to support the needs of all learning using principles of inclusion and Universal Design for Learning (UDL). Then we reflected on the role of video games and play as a stimulus to learning. We played and discussed a game to reflect more deeply on the value of role-playing and simulation games to teach disinformation.
