DATE: Tuesday, March 8, 2022

TIME: 18:00 PM CET / 12:00 PM EST

LOCATION. Online. Click here to register.

In this session, we'll use the power of peer-to-peer collaboration to explore the many different forms of propaganda that are circulating around the world since the military conflict in Ukraine began. You'll gain knowledge by sharing interpretations with a peer.

You'll also have time to develop a small project with a partner that may include topics including media literacy, media bias, disinformation, and propaganda. Through your work together, you deepen your appreciation of the power of intercultural dialogue.

Expand your professional network and develop trusted relationships with people from around the world. Work collaboratively to create or expand on educational projects that advance media literacy locally and globally.

Medialogues on Propaganda is a year-long Professional Learning Community for German and American educators and teacher educators, developed by Renee Hobbs (University of Rhode Island USA) and Silke Grafe (University of Würzburg, Germany). In the Fall/WInter of 2021, educators and teacher educators will gather for online dialogue. We will build meaningful relationships built on respect and trust. In this co-learning community, everyone learns from everyone.
